Puyallup Brain Injury Support Group

New Spring, New Start?

April 18, 2013
Okay, I have now scanned a bunch of documents that I will post to the yahoo group by the end of May.  I'm now giving myself more realistic goals. LOL.

We have some wonderful people signed up for the yahoo group and I truly hope more will get involved.

Take care and happy Spring!
Sheri

Morning everyone!
Time has once again gotten away from me.  I bought a scanner and will begin to put documents in our online group at yahoo.  We hope to have the group up and running this spring.
We are looking for members who may not be able to attend physical meetings but would like to belong to an online group.  Please email us and we'll get you set up.
Thank you and have a beautiful day!

Hi everyone!
Beginning in June, Penny Condoll and the BEST group will be facilitating the Puyallup Brain Injury Support Group.
The phone number will now be 1-877-719-BEST (2378).  BEST stands for Brain Energy Support Team.  This group will be starting the "Moving On" program for survivors.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us during the last 2 years with the group.
We will stop in now and then.  We send our best to everyone who is dealing with surviving a brain injury.

Yay!  A nutritionist will be speaking to the group.  It is really hard to get someone to come and speak about nutrition and we'd like to thank Amber with MultiCare for all the hard work coordinating this task.
Also, we'd like to thank Kathy with MultiCare who will be speaking on the 19th.
Please join us if possible. ;-)

Please join us if possible.

At our May meeting, we will have visitors that are conducting a questionnaire to help with creating a caregiver training module.  They would like to ask people living with brain injuries what they do and do not want in a caregiver.  It should be interesting.  We'll be in the Mt. Rainier room from 6-7:30 at MultiCare/Good Samaritan hospital in the rehabilitation section.  See you there!  Sheri
